NASCAR’s David Reutimann now has a ride for next weekend’s Daytona 500 with BK Racing. A deal between Tommy Baldwin Racing and Stewart-Haas Racing had previously arranged for Danica Patrick and David Reutimann to share the #10 car for the season, with Patrick taking 10 big races including the Daytona 500.

Reutimann will still race the other 26 races of the season for the TBR/SHR #10 alliance, but for the 500, he will compete against Patrick as he drives the #93 Toyota for the team who took over the remnants of the disbanded Red Bull Racing team. The owner’s points from last year’s Red Bull Racing team will translate to put Reutimann in a locked position for the Great American Race.

Reutimann talks about how much this race means to him and what it’s like to prepare for such a big race last minute.
